Hotchkiss resident Rodney K. Tribble died June 17, 2017, at his home. He was 58.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 23, at Hotchkiss High School. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Tribble was born April 24, 1959, to Wilton and Betty (Sheldon) Tribble in Boulder. The family moved from Boulder to Paonia in 1965. He spent his childhood in Paonia and Hotchkiss and graduated from Hotchkiss High School in 1977.
On June 30, 1984, he married Debbie Hotchkiss in Hotchkiss.
Mr. Tribble worked at the Colorado Westmoreland Coal Company until 1994, when he started his own construction company, Tribble & Sons Construction, LLC.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time in the mountains, hunting, four-wheeling, fast cars, motorcycles and joking around.
Mr. Tribble is survived by his wife, Debbie; two sons, Seth Tribble and Jake (Alicia) Tribble, all of Hotchkiss; two brothers, Dick (Melinda) Tribble of Hotchkiss and Kim Tribble of Grand Junction; parents-in-law, Dick and Janice Hotchkiss; two grandchildren, Brantley and Harper Tribble; brothers- and sister-in-law, Dan and Shelli Kunde, Zach and Jeannetta Hotchkiss and Ted Hotchkiss; and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Pasquinel Kunde.
