Ronnie Jackson

Ronnie Lee Jackson died Dec. 22, 2015, at his home in Tucson, Ariz. He was 73.

He was born in San Pedro, Calif., March 28, 1942, to Levi and Lilly Jackson.

He married Marg McCracken in 1961 in Olathe. They lived in California before moving back to Colorado in 1973.

Mr. Jackson worked as a master electrician and contractor. While in Colorado he owned Jackson Electric. In 1985, the family moved to Tucson, Ariz., where he owned Commercial Electric Inc.

He was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on Feb. 11, 1956. He enjoyed his family, his church, singing, his ministry of traveling among the brethren and opening his home to visitors.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marg; his sons, Doug Jackson and Brian (Stacey) Jackson, all of Tucson, Ariz.; his daughters, Jill Miller of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Jennifer (Jerry) Sweet of Tucson, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Millarich, Sue Young and Vicki (J.E.) Sweet, all of Agra, Okla.; a brother, Bud (Sarah) Jackson of Pismo Beach, Calif.; and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Odell and Jerry Jackson; and a granddaughter, Katie Jackson.

Interment is at Pea Green Cemetery in Olathe.

Adair Funeral Homes Avalon Chapel in Tucson, Ariz., handled the arrangements.
