Rosemarie Hinton Stotts died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2015, at Horizons Care Center in Eckert. She was 87.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14, at Delta City Cemetery.
Mrs. Stotts was born Aug. 30, 1928, in Delta to Floyd and Loretta (Cooper) Hinton. Known as Ree, she grew up in Delta and graduated from Delta High School in 1946.
She married Chester Stotts June 15, 1947, in Delta. She moved with Chester and their three children to Chicago in the early 1950s. They returned to Delta in 1967 where they lived the rest of their lives.
Mrs. Stotts was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Delta, where she sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Sweet Adelines.
She is survived by a son, Gary Stotts of Placitas, N.M.; two daughters, Kathy Morgan of Chicago, Ill., and Cindy Henley of Longmont; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Cherry.

At about 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, officers of the Delta Police Department were dispatched to a robbery reported at Arby's, located at 107 Gunnison River Drive. An extensive search of the area was conducted and the suspect was not located.
The suspect was reported to have walked into Arby's and after a brief conversation with an employee, was able to leave the store with a small amount of cash and coins.
