Sandra Lee McGee of Ken Caryl died Sunday, April 24, 2016, after a five-year battle with ovarian cancer. She was 61.
She was born in Denver June 6, 1954, to Donald and Evelyn (Ferguson) Hansen. She graduated from Delta High School in 1972.
She worked in telecommunications, beginning with Mountain Bell in 1983 and retiring from CenturyLink in 2013.
Mrs. McGee enjoyed being a wife and mother and watching her sons play football from early high school through college.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; her sons, Christopher and Nicholas; her sisters, Jeanne (Darrell) Olson of Centennial, Cherie (Chuck) Merritt of Delta and Becky (Gary) Witt-mer of Greenwood Village; and extended family.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
