On Thursday, Sept. 14, the Delta County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant in the Peach Valley area of Delta to search for and arrest Gina Sander, 29, who was actively wanted on two felony warrants. Sander was located and taken into custody without incident by investigators. During the search, Ian Kester, 18, of Delta was also arrested on a misdemeanor warrant.
During the arrest, Sander was in possession of suspected methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance. Sander was booked into the Delta County Jail on a felony parole warrant, felony warrant for unauthorized use of a financial transaction device and theft from an at-risk adult out of the Cedaredge Police Department. She was charged with unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, a class 4 drug felony by the sheriff's office.
