History program highlights I-70 project

Sportsmen invited to voice opinions

Colorado Parks and Wildlife's Southwest Region invites hunters and anglers to give their ideas and voice their opinions about wildlife issues at a Sportsmen's Roundtable meeting which will be held by video teleconference, 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 18.

Anyone interested can go to one of the local wildlife offices in the Southwest Region to participate.

Smallmouth bass tourney set for Ridgway Reservoir in July

Anglers can vie for $5,000 in cash prizes and actively participate in an important wildlife-management activity at this year's smallmouth bass tournament at Ridgway State Park, July 7-28. The tournament is sponsored by Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

Grief support group meets on Tuesdays

Mending Hearts, a grief support group coordinated through HopeWest, will meet on Tuesdays through July 31 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at All Saints Lutheran Church, 20101 Deer Creek Road in Austin.

Each support group begins with grief education and is followed by a small group discussion.
