Specialist discusses Puebloan turkeys

The Colorado Archaeological Society presents "The Flocks of Houck," a discussion of ancient Puebloan turkey raising in Northern Arizona.

Blythe Morrison of Durango will present her research into the presence of turkeys in archaeological collections from Northern Arizona Puebloan sites dating to AD 800-1250, before and during the transitional period when turkeys became an important food for Pueblo people.
