Senior CommUnity meals are served at four dining sites in Delta County -- Cedaredge Community Center (Monday-Thursday), Delta Community Center (Monday-Friday), Hotchkiss Senior Center (Monday-Thursday) and Paonia Senior Citizen Center (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Meals on Wheels are also delivered from each location. Thursday, Dec. 1 -- Ham loaf, baked potato, broccoli, honey bee ambrosia and bread pudding.
Friday, Dec. 2 -- Beef stew, cornbread, three-bean salad, peanut butter cookie and banana.
Monday, Dec. 5 -- Baked chicken breast on fettuccini alfredo, California vegetables, roll and apple crisp.
Tuesday, Dec. 6 -- Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, zucchini, mandarin spinach salad and deluxe banana pudding.
Wednesday, Dec. 7 -- Roast turkey, cornbread stuffing and gravy, Chateau blend veggies, carrot-raisin salad, half an orange and frosted cake.
Thursday, Dec. 8 -- Chili with cheese and chopped onions, cornbread, spring mix salad and Emerald Isle salad.
Friday, Dec. 9 -- Beef and bean burrito, lettuce/tomato/onion, Spanish rice, mandarin oranges and ice cream.
Monday, Dec. 12 -- Crunchy chicken casserole, Harvard beets, cole slaw, rye roll and apple cranberry crisp.
Tuesday, Dec. 13 -- Beef stroganoff over pasta, fiesta blend vegetables, Italian bread and strawberry shortcake.
Wednesday, Dec. 14 -- Herb breaded chicken, tossed salad, Italian veggie blend, garlic bread and lemon pie bar.
Thursday, Dec. 15 -- Roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, kidney bean salad, western corn, onion roll and frosted cake.
Friday, Dec. 16 -- Swedish meatballs over egg noodles, broccoli, carrot fruit salad and applesauce cake.
Monday, Dec. 19 -- Beef patty with carrots and onions, cheesy vegetable soup, mashed potatoes, roll and peaches with cottage cheese.
Tuesday, Dec. 20 -- Spaghetti with meat sauce, candied bacon Brussels sprouts, tossed salad, Italian bread and one-cup fruit dessert.
Wednesday, Dec. 21 -- Pepperoni pizza, tossed salad, wax beans with red peppers and tropical fruit mix.
Thursday, Dec. 22 -- Salisbury steak with mushroom and onion gravy, Parmesan pea salad, mashed potatoes, wheat roll and pumpkin custard.
Friday, Dec. 23 -- Baked ham dinner, whipped sweet potatoes, green beans, pineapple coleslaw, wheat roll and Christmas cookies.
Monday, Dec. 26 -- Pizza mac casserole, winter blend veggies, tossed salad, French bread and tropical fruit cup.
Tuesday, Dec. 27 -- Tuna salad sandwich on whole wheat bread, beef and barley soup, fresh vegetable salad, corn and cherry crisp.
Wednesday, Dec. 28 -- Sloppy joe on a whole wheat bun, baked potato wedge, coleslaw, green beans and cake.
Thursday, Dec. 29 -- Pepper steak, steamed rice, California vegetables, Italian bread and pineapple rice pudding.
Friday, Dec. 30 -- Oven-fried chicken, hoppin' John, mandarin spinach salad, Italian stewed tomatoes and apple crisp.
