The Aging and Disability Resources for Colorado (ADRC) invites seniors residing in Delta County to come boot scoot and boogie the afternoon away at the annual Senior Prom. The ADRC is committed to continue this tradition for Delta County residents over the age of 50 which the former Delta County Senior Resource Council, Delta High School Student Council and community partners created many years ago.
This year's theme is "Classic Country." Entertainment will be provided by Delta County's own Beth Williams and Friends. The event also includes a light lunch, dessert, corsages/boutonnieres and pictures.
This free event takes place Saturday, April 8, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Delta High School gymnasium. No RSVP is needed. Call Amy Rowan at Region 10, 765-3123, for more information.
On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
