The energy, physical conditioning, and learning prowess of the valley's elementary school students were on full display last week at Cedaredge Elementary School's two Showcase events.
With the gym at Cedaredge High School as the setting, students from kindergarten, first and second grades performed their physical fitness routines with music and song in a a high energy, hour-long performance.
On Thursday, the third, fourth and fifth graders went through the paces entertaining parents and family with aerobic routines set to music.
Students used accessories such as basketballs, hoola hoops, and aerobic step platforms in their routines.
The event is coordinated and staged by CES teachers Amie Henderson and Andrea Kallsen.
