Members of the Del-Rose Chorus have been discovering the North Pole and researching how Santa is handling the new world. If you want to know more, plan to attend the annual show at the Delta Christian Church in November.
The chorus took a short break in October to help celebrate AppleFest in Cedaredge. What fun it was making clouds of cotton candy and handing them over to smiling faces young and old. It was such a pleasure being part of such a celebration.
Now chorus members are back working in their own Santa's Workshop working on new songs and polishing the old. The chorus is being joined by the Grand Mesa Chorus from Grand Junction. They have brought new songs and are joining the Del-Rose Chorus in songs that all have sung together for many years.
Plan to attend Santa's Workshop at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Delta Christian Church on 1600 Road in North Delta.
On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
