Thomas Kelly Hanson died Jan. 23, 2017, at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Nampa, Idaho. He was 58.
He grew up in Delta, where he attended and graduated from Delta schools.
Mr. Hanson was a truck driver who enjoyed traveling with his canine companion, "Cowboy."
He is survived by his mother, Sharon DuFrain; two brothers, Kirby Hanson and David (Kelsie) Smith; two sisters, Kim Hanson and Jami (Gene) Smerdu; two daughters, Tia and Tynae; one grandson, Nate; and seven nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Frances Hanson and David and Grace DuFrain; and his father, Thomas Hanson.
The family requests that in lieu of memorial contributions, to consider organ donation, as he did, giving others the gift of life.
Nampa Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
