Time is running out to register antique cars, classic cars and trucks for the annual Antique & Classic Car Show at Pioneer Town during AppleFest 2015.

The show will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, (one day only) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event takes place at the west end of Pioneer Town at the arboretum near the Chapel of the Cross.

Antique tractors and motorcycles are welcome for display with no fee and no trophies given.

Six trophies will be awarded for cars, one in each of the categories -- Best Classic, Best Sports Car, Best Street Rod, Best Pickup and Best Antique. Spectators will be given ballots to vote for the People's Choice. Trophies will be presented at 2:30 p.m.

The fee for each car and truck entry is $12 pre-registration or $15 at the gate. For specific information and/or an entry form contact Richard Udd at 970-778-9911.

Visitors are welcome to view the show and talk with the owners. Admission fee is $2, children under 12 years are free -- includes the car show, all of Pioneer Town and a bonus of parking at the Welcome Center (as space permits).

Cedar Mesa Community Club will be on site, on the north side of the Blacksmith Shop, with a food and beverage booth from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Pioneer Town will also be open on Sunday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Then Pioneer Town closes for the 2015 season, reopening on Memorial Day weekend in 2016.

Reservations for rental of the Stolte Shed and Chapel of the Cross can be made throughout the year by calling 970-778-0218.
