Delta County Memorial Hospital announces a community tobacco cessation program. Open to all ages, this program is designed to not only make your goal of a tobacco free life possible, but probable. The program focuses on the eight dimensions of wellness: emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social and spiritual to help you overcome your triggers and provide a support system.
Program leader is Shelly Hatch, an ASCM certified exercise physiologist who received her training from The Behavioral Health & Wellness Program University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus School of Medicine.
A referral from your physician is encouraged but not required for enrollment in this six-week program. Classes are held at the hospital on Thursday evenings and cost of participation is $30. For more information, please call cardiac and pulmonary rehab at Delta County Memorial Hospital, 874-2412.
