Montrose resident Tobi Joan Doyle died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at Children's Hospital in Aurora. She was 2.
She was born in Delta Dec. 31, 2013, to Brandon Lewis and Chrystal Doyle. She lived in Delta and Montrose.
She enjoyed life, her family, dancing, music, Minnie Mouse and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
She is survived by her mother, Chrystal Doyle; her father, Brandon Lewis; her grandparents, Brad and Angie Doyle, Debbie and David Cayou, and Verna Lewis of Montrose; her great-grandfather, Jim Doyle of Delta; her godparents, Dani (Fraser) and Chance Jones of Delta; her aunts and uncles, Glee (Tim) Anderson of Aurora, Jodi (Rudy) Hollingshead of Montrose, Tyler Werner of Fort Collins and Randy (Lorraine) Crespin of Delta; and her cousins, Randy Hollingshead of Montrose and Shawn and Shelby Anderson of Aurora.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Toby and Delia Crespin and Joan Doyle.
A memorial fund has been set up at Alpine Bank.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 27, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta. The family asks that guests wear Minnie Mouse or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles memorabilia.
On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
