Truman Esau

Truman G. Esau, M.D., of Whitewater died Friday, March 4, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction. He was 89.

A graveside service was held Friday, March 11, at Mesa View Cemetery in Delta.

Mr. Esau was born in Wrentham, Mass., June 1, 1926, to Guilford Esau and Mary Matson. He attended college at Wheaton College and medical school at Albany, N.Y.

He married Marilyn Blake on Dec. 27, 1950, in Schenectady, N.Y.

He moved to Whitewater in 2005. He was a member of Living Hope Evangelical Church in Grand Junction.

Mr. Esau is survived by his son, Eric Esau of Whitewater; his daughter, Eileen Juenemann of Plattsmouth, Neb.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Esau; and his brother, Gordon Esau.
