Gusty spring winds uprooted a dead tree behind an unoccupied office building at 455 Palmer Street in Delta Monday afternoon. The tree fell on top of the neighboring building occupied by Foster Farms. Alice Jones of Cina-Jones Real Estate, who has the listing on the unoccupied building, said both buildings appear to have escaped damage. The unoccupied building was formerly the home of Ute Engineering.
