Vendors and salon professionals are sought for the fourth annual Girl Talk: A Day of Beauty & Bliss fundraiser on Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Delta-Montrose Technical College. This popular event is organized by the Abraham Connection homeless shelter as a way to raise operational funds. Applications are now being accepted for vendors who have wares which cater to women, as well as salon professionals who can provide a mini spa service (hair styling, massage, facials, makeup application, etc.) for event ticket holders.
A limited number of tickets will be on sale soon. For the ticket price of $35, attendees receive five mini spa services and a commemorative wine glass, and will enjoy wine and beer sampling, live music, delicious food and a glamour photo from Reve Portraits.
Call the shelter at 970-773-8290 for more details or for an application.
