It seems like I am not the only one that realizes, after many, many years and election cycles, that my vote doesn't really matter. The "parties" of both Democrats and Republicans are in fact the ones to actually select who will be the candidate running for office.
What a hoax that has been run on the voters for years. Shame on us for not being better informed voters.
We should be grateful to the Colorado Republican Party for finally letting us see the light.
I am positive that come November all of a sudden the actual voters, not the "party" will actually become important. Well don't count on my vote any more. I am going to re-register as an independent and may the best candidate, regardless of party, win.

At their March 5 meeting Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes made two appointments to the county planning commission. Steve Shea was reappointed for a three-year term.
