February-March StoryWalk®. The woodland animals of Burrow Down are ready for a bedtime story, but where are the books? The February-March StoryWalk® book is "The Snatchabook -- Who's stealing all the stories?" written by Helen Docherty and illustrated by Thomas Docherty. Visit Cedaredge Library after your walk for activities and books related to the story. Pick up a Snatchabook mask take home craft. Blind Date with a Book. Visit the Cedaredge Library for a blind date with a book during the month of February. Books of all genres for all age groups will be wrapped and patiently awaiting someone to connect with. Choose a book based on genre and age group and then fill out the "Rate Your Date" book review after reading the book.
Bottle Cap Maker Space. Create your own bottle cap magnet at the maker space station. Decorate with pictures, googly eyes and more. All supplies provided. Adult supervision necessary for young children. All month in February.
Databases A-Z. Friends of the Cedaredge Library present an informative program covering the basics of Delta County Libraries online library. Learn how to access valuable online resources with your library card! Presented by Tracy Ihnot, communications and outreach administrator for Delta County Libraries. OverDrive 101. Attention all e-book and e-audiobook enthusiasts! OverDrive is your ticket to the digital world of literature. Swing by with your devices and learn all that there is to know! Friday, March 9, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Crafts Group. Crafters meet every Tuesday at 10 a.m. to share ideas and show and tell.

Roger Hutchison Art Display. During the month of February, Delta Library will be displaying the works of local artist Roger Hutchison. The display will feature Hutchison's abstract metal structures. Hutchison is a retired local art teacher who inspired many students during his teaching career.
Heart Tower Maker Space. See how high your heart tower rises at the Heart Tower Maker Space! All month long in February in the children's area at Delta Library.
Scavenger Hunt. Find the hidden pages in the children's area and build a book for Library Lovers Month. All month long in the children's area of Delta Library.
Information Station. Delta Library offers an open information station in the conference room for all ages and skill levels to seek technical assistance with computers and tablets. Attendees will also receive an introduction to utilizing library databases for online classes. Monday, March 5, at 4 p.m.
Teen Tech Week. Come in and explore technology in the teen area anytime during the week during library hours to participate.
Teen Game Night. Board games and card games will be available in the teen area every Wednesday night at 4 p.m.
Genealogy One-on-One. Get the help you need researching your genealogy in this ongoing class taught by Mickey Watts. Meets the second and fourth Monday of each month at 5 p.m.
Talk & Tangle Yarn. This is a group of knit and crochet enthusiasts who get together to talk and work on their individual projects. Anyone is welcome to join. Mondays starting at 5:30 p.m.

Armchair Travel. Join Bill and Sarah Bishop on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 6 p.m. as they relive their Peruvian adventure, with scenes and tales from the heights of Machu Picchu to the great river Amazon.
Armchair Travel Matinee: The Odyssey of Laura Lee. Back by popular demand! Come early to get a seat for the second showing of pictures and stories from librarian Laura Lee Yates' research trip to London, the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, Ireland, Andalusia, and Morocco. Saturday, March 3, at 11 a.m.
North Fork Reads! Delta County Libraries joins the Blue Sage Literary Committee and The Paradise Theater in presenting "A Wrinkle in Time" by Madeleine L'Engle, the first North Fork Reads! Copies of the book will be available at each library in Paonia, Hotchkiss and Crawford -- starting March 1. At checkout, the reader will receive a ticket to attend a free showing of the new movie at the Paradise Theater on Sunday, April 15, at 3 p.m. All Delta County residents are invited to participate and can place holds on the book for pickup at any North Fork library. A discussion and comparison of the book and film will follow the showing.
Exploratory Art Class. Local art teacher Natalie Haines will provide a guided art activity for children age 3-5 and their parent or guardian. Bring your own snack and clothes to paint in. Space limited to 10 children. Sign up at Paonia Library. Every Friday from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. through the end of March.
Tech Café. Tech assistance for all ages and skill levels. Every Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m.
On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
