Storytime for Babies, Tots and Preschoolers at the Cedaredge Library. Thursdays starting at 10:30 a.m. Parents and tots are invited to participate in a reading time together.
Maker Space: Little Picassos. This month the Cedaredge branch is a place for you to be a little Picasso! There will be canvas and paints and a completed painting for you to replicate with an easy guide. One canvas board per person and only one or two at a time to paint. You may call to reserve a time if you wish. This will be open all days for the month of January or until the boards run out!
Genealogy. Who's Who in Whoville ... find out who you really are. Friday, Feb. 5, at 10:30 a.m.
Crafts Group. Crafters meet each Tuesday at 10 a.m. to share ideas and show and tell. Contact the library at 399-7674 for details.
Blind Date with a Book. Stop into the library and go on a blind date with a book. Who knows? Perhaps you'll fall in love with a good story. Available any time the library is open in February.
Maker Space: Polymer Clay Heart Pins. Just bring your imagination! We will have clay, pin attachments, tools and ideas to get you started. Make something unique for that special person in your life, or just for yourself. Open every day in February during business hours at the Cedaredge branch.
Tech Soup Saturday. Bring your devices and your questions. Our expert "techies" will do their best to answer your questions. Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Valentine Card Making. Join us for a week of Valentine card making and a tiny treasure basket craft. We will provide all the materials. Just stop in any afternoon we are open between Jan. 29 and Feb. 5.
Scrapbooking. Join Jan at the Crawford Library for a special day of scrapbooking fun! We have plenty of tools and materials -- just bring your creativity. Monday, Feb. 1, at 11 a.m.
Computer Tutor. Librarians will be available to help you with questions and problems about computers or mobile devices. Just drop in during regular library hours or call ahead for a specific time. Contact the library at 399-7783 for details.

Free Heart Health Screenings. Free heart health screenings are being offered at the Delta Library every Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Living Within Our Means. Bob Aubery will teach finance classes at the Delta Library. This is a great opportunity for community members to learn about budgeting, debt reduction and sound financial decision making. The class is 10 weeks, concluding on Saturday, March 29. DJ Anderson Book Signing. Local Delta author DJ Anderson will be signing copies of her book "Strange Magick." Saturday, Feb. 6, at 1 p.m.
Talk & Tangle Yarn. This is a group of knit and crochet enthusiasts who get together to talk and work on their individual projects. Anyone is welcome to join. Mondays starting at 5:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
