Cedaredge

Storytimes. Storytimes for babies, tots and preschoolers are Thursdays starting at 10:30 a.m. Contact the library at 399-7674 for details.

StoryWalks® Grand Opening. The first permanent StoryWalk® in Delta County will have its grand opening in Cedaredge in December! Read the book about a hungry bear wandering into Christmas Town created by CHS students while walking the Surface Creek Trail. Hot apple cider, cookies, an activity and a sticker will be provided for participants. Saturday, Dec. 3, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Cedaredge Friends Meeting. Speaker presentation at 2 p.m. followed by refreshments with the business meeting to follow. Thursday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m.

Microsoft Word Computer Class. A beginners training workshop on the basics of Microsoft Word. Friday, Dec. 9, at 10:30 a.m.

Teen Scene. Teens are invited to the Cedaredge Library every Friday at 4 p.m. for fun, creative activities!

November Scavenger Hunt. Thanksgiving treasure hunt! Come pick up a scavenger sheet, fill it out while finding the items in the library and get a small prize! All month during regular library hours.

November Maker Space. Altered domino magnet making. Create a one-of-a-kind magnet! Using sharpies you can make a beautiful magnet for yourself or as a gift. Materials provided. One per person please. All month during regular library hours.

Crafts Group. Crafters meet each Tuesday at 10 a.m. to share ideas and show and tell. Contact the library at 399-7674 for details.

Tech Soup Saturday. Bring your devices and your questions. Our expert "techies" will do their best to answer your questions. Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Crawford

Holiday Season Kick-off Party. Join us for holiday treats after the annual Parade of Lights in Crawford. Our holiday Alpine Village will be set up and it is truly wondrous! Friday, Nov. 25, at 6:30 p.m.

Alpine Village Haiku Contest. The Crawford Library will run an Alpine Village-inspired Haiku Contest from Dec. 1-Dec. 31. View the village in person or online. Submissions can be delivered to the Crawford Library in person, by mail, or through the Delta County Libraries website at http://www.deltalibraries.org/holiday-village/. Entries will be judged by a panel of professional writers and awards will be given in each age category.

Scrapbooking. Bring your latest project and join the fun! We share materials, tools, and ideas! Bring a snack to share. Monday, Dec. 5, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Computer Tutor. Librarians will be available to help you with questions and problems about computers or mobile devices. Just drop in during regular library hours or call ahead for a specific time. Contact the library at 399-7783 for details.

Delta

Holiday Reading Challenge. Children will be given a list of age-appropriate books to read. When the checklist is completed, the child will receive a certificate for a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut and be entered into a drawing for a free book from the Emblem Club. Nov. 19-Jan. 14.

Holiday Movie Series. Join us at Delta Library for an hour of entertainment with popcorn and a movie in the children's area every Tuesday through Dec 20, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 4 p.m.

Adult Craft Week. Come to the Delta Library during regular business hours Nov. 28 through Dec. 3 and make a bookmark. All supplies are provided.

Operation Troop Bounty. Help support our troops! During the month of November, bring items for donation to the Delta Library to be sent to our troops. Travel size toiletries, small non-perishable food items, books and many more items will be accepted. For a full list of items contact the Delta Library at 874-9630.

Kids' Craft Day. Stop by the Delta Library between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. every third Saturday through May and get crafty. November's theme: Thanksgiving!

Free Heart Health Screenings. There will be no screenings in November or December.

Magic the Gathering. Teens can come to the library to play and trade cards for Magic the Gathering! Tournaments every first Saturday at 10 a.m.

Talk & Tangle Yarn. This is a group of knit and crochet enthusiasts who get together to talk and work on their individual projects. Anyone is welcome to join. Mondays starting at 5:30 p.m.

Hotchkiss

Gingerbread Festivities. Dash to the Hotchkiss Library for an afternoon of gingerbread festivities. Enjoy gingerbread stories, crafts and decorate your own gingerbread cookie to take home. All ages welcome. Thursday, Dec. 1, at 4 p.m.

Holiday Ornament Making. Come to the library during the month of December and create your own unique ornament to take home with you to enjoy! We'll provide the supplies.

Master Builder Club. Explore your creativity as a master builder with Legos. Join us for a monthly design themes and free building time. All ages welcome; children under 7 should bring an adult. Meets the first Tuesday of every month October through April.

Turkey Feathers Maker Space. Come to the Hotchkiss Library during regular business hours in November and color a turkey feather for the Hotchkiss Library Bird.

"Gratitude Graffiti" Maker Space. Stop by the Hotchkiss Library anytime during regular business hours in November to contribute to the "Gratitude Graffiti" Wall. Share your gratitude!

Paonia
