The Delta County Women's Connection is presenting "Conversations" every Saturday at 9 a.m. at Fairlamb Plaza at 3rd Street, a half block west of Main Street behind the Delta Area Chamber of Commerce office.
The current series, "Enough," has been created by Stonecroft Ministries to help women connect with others who are curious -- some skeptical -- about what Jesus and the Bible have to say concerning important areas in life. The four-week session, to be continued with another pertinent subject, provides stories, discussion questions and sections from the Bible that reflect on each topic.
According to Jessica Good, chairman of the Delta Women's Connection, "This topic discusses places that exist in our lives where we feel like we're not enough. We don't have enough time, money or the kind of relationships we want. 'Enough' explores what God wants to be present and help us embrace who we are rather than we fear we're missing. Discover the life that is good enough."

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
