The Blue Sage Center for the Arts is seeking writers and photographers for its "Convergence: Words and Pictures from the West Elks" contest.
Formerly known as the "Write On! Contest and Anthology," the competition is in its 10th year and is open to all Delta County residents. Works of previously unpublished fiction, essay, poetry will be included in the contest.
A photography contest featuring black and white photographs that capture the essence of the West Elks has been added to this year's competition.
Winners will be published in the annual Write On! anthology, which, for the first time, will be included in the Library of Congress. The competition culminates in the Convergence Reading event, to be held during the 71st annual Cherry Days Festival in July.
