The Cedaredge High School Class of 1950 graduated 68 years ago from the building that is now Cedaredge Elementary School. There were about 30 students in the class and over the years they've met for class reunions, which included picnics and catered banquets.
Recently, some classmates have been physically unable to travel back to Cedaredge for reunions, so the decision was made to discontinue the reunions. With the funds remaining in their class account, they chose to make a donation to Cedaredge Elementary School for children's needs. The staff at CES wants to give a huge thank you to the Class of 1950 for its generous and unselfish donation.
"What a beautiful example of our community and school working together for our children!" said Cedaredge Elementary School principal Dan Renfrow.
