Linda Speedie, RN was awarded a nursing certificate recognizing her for her exceptional collaboration from PipelineRX, an "after hours" pharmacy that DCMH has contracted with for the past five to six years. The certificate recognizes Speedie for her partnership and dedication to quality care while interacting with the PipelineRX pharmacists during night shifts, 6 p.m.- 6 a.m. Speedie was selected as the nurse being most helpful from Delta County Memorial Hospital.
Jody Roeber, chief clinical officer, thanked Speedie for her professionalism. "Linda takes time to assure her patients receive the best care possible, and treats everyone as a team. We are proud of the care our patients receive at DCMH and Linda is a wonderful example of the personal touch one can expect at their home town hospital," Roeber said. "I would like to thank PipelineRX for taking the time to recognize our hospital and Linda."
On Dec. 2, officers of the Delta Police Department responded to a report of an assault. Officers spoke with a 64-year-old male with a bleeding injury on his neck.
