Cedaredge's boys track team finished third at Grand Valley's Cardinal Open last Tuesday and the girls finished fourth. The boys scored 75 points and the girls finished the meet with 90.5 points.
In the boys competition, Cedaredge finished with three first-place winners, including Ryan Imhoff's triple jump effort of 38-11.5 and two relay top finishes, 800m relay (1:36.45) and 1600m relay (3:41.42).
Cedaredge's 400m relay team was second (47.41) with third-place finishes going to Tevin Keller (800m, 2:11.86), Joshua Jenkins (300 hurdles, 45.90) and Kaleb Berardi (shot put, 39-10.75).
Imhoff picked up fourth-place points in the 300 hurdles with a time of 46.10.
Fifth-place points were earned by Jenkins in the 110 high hurdles (13.37) and Blake Tullis in discus with his throw of 116-2.5.
The Bruins also had a seventh place finish in the 3200m relay and two eighth-place finishes from Colby Rupp (200m), Marshall Meyers (shot put) and Zach Nold (discus).
For the girls, there were two top finishes, including freshman Megan Jenkins 1:02.06 in the 400m dash and the 1600m relay team, which had a winning time of 4:20.14.
Second-place finishes were recorded by Kammie Henderson (high jump, 4-9) and the 800m sprint medley relay team (1:59.84).
The Bruins' 800m relay team was third (1:57.96) with four fourth-place finishes going to Aspen Furubotten (100 hurdles, 18.38), Hannah Gardner in both the shot put (31-5) and discus (93-11.75) and the 3200m relay team (12:02.27).
Earning points for finishing fifth were Briar Wagner (3200m, 14:03.05), Emily Tullis (100 hurdles, 18.42), Megan Gastineau (long jump, 14-6.5) and the 400m relay team (55.84).
Baylee Harris (100 hurdles) and Gastineau (300 hurdles) finished in sixth place.
Taelor Mills (300 hurdles) and Violet Gonzalez (shot put) were seventh with Gastineau (100m), Hannah Carlson (200m) and Gonzalez (discus) earning a point for finishing eighth.
