The Hotchkiss High School baseball team kept up its winning ways and improved to 7-0 on the season after sweeping a doubleheader in Meeker last Saturday.
All of the Bulldogs wins so far have come on the road.
Hotchkiss beat the Cowboys in the first game 18-7.
Cesar Gonzalez did the most damage from the plate for Hotchkiss, going 5-for-6 with two RBIs and two runs scored.
Both Eli Kirk and Chase Hiatt smacked two hits for the Bulldogs, and each drove in a pair and scored twice in the win.
The second game saw Hotchkiss roll to a methodical win, getting three runs in the first, three in the third, four in the fourth and five in the fifth frame.
Alex Aguilera led the way for the Bulldogs, going 4-for-4 at the dish with seven RBIs and scoring three times.
Eli Kirk was 3-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored. Presley Pene belted a hit and drove in two for the victors.
Hotchkiss was at Olathe yesterday and opens its home schedule on Saturday with a doubleheader versus Rangely.

Jones previously faced three counts in the shooting of Ryan Redifer in Paonia on Jan. 12, 2018 -- assault in the first degree, assault in the second degree and violation of a protection order.
