At 8 p.m. Saturday, skedaddle over to the North Fork Horse Patrol Arena, 39696 Mathews Lane for the annual Bulls N' Broncs Rodeo. A 14-year Cherry Days tradition, rodeo events include a competitive bull ride and ranch bronc ride. This year there will also be a wild cow race, where teams of three attempt to catch, saddle and ride a cow. Kids will also be invited to participate in an arena activity designed just for them.
A brief break in the action will allow board members with the nonprofit North Fork Horse Patrol to present their annual scholarship to an area high school student.
Admission is $10 for ages 8 and up, $5 for seniors and veterans with a valid military idea, and free for ages 7 and under. Food vendors will be on-site, so bring your appetite.
Arena-front parking spaces are available for a fee and can be reserved by calling Shane at 970-261-2251 or Dustin at 970-201-2278. Any remaining spaces before the event begins will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
