Does your business benefit from traveler and tourist traffic? The Delta County Tourism Cabinet wants to help build your business by directing more tourists to you through effective, targeted marketing and promotions.

To aid in this, the tourism cabinet has launched a short, five-question survey for tourism-related businesses such as retailers, specialty shops, lodging establishments, restaurants and recreation-based businesses. The survey will be issued quarterly, so the cabinet can better follow trends and adjust the county's marketing to those tourists most likely to spend their time in Delta County. "By surveying our tourism-related businesses, we hope to establish baselines and measure against them from year to year," explained Kelli Hepler, the county's tourism coordinator. "This will give us a better understanding of how our marketing dollars can be spent to the true benefit of businesses in our county."

The survey will be emailed out to businesses in mid-March. If you own or manage a business in Delta County that benefits from tourist and traveler traffic and you do not receive the survey by March 15, please get in touch with Hepler to be added to the list. "It's vital that we hear from all of our businesses so we can work most effectively and efficiently for all of Delta County," Hepler said. She can be reached at 970-471-9621 or kelli@deltacountycolorado.com to be added to the survey list, or for any information related to tourism activities in Delta County.
