The Town of Cedaredge Board of Trustees and town staff are continuing to work on the preliminary 2019 town budget leading up to adoption in December. The final draft budget has been submitted to the trustees and made available to the public. Citizens wishing to learn more about the town's preliminary budget can view the document on the town website: cedaredgecolorado.com (scroll down the page to reach 'News & Announcements,' select 'view all' and follow the link to the budget.)
Paper copies are also available for review at town hall and citizens can call or email town staff with questions at 970-856-3123 or manager@cedaredgecolorado.com.
The public is encouraged to attend town meetings and budget sessions. Time is allotted at the start of all regular board of trustee meetings for constituent comments. Meetings are held in the Grand Mesa Room at 140 N.W. 2nd Street in Cedardege.
Future budget planning sessions and other town meetings will be held as follows:
• Nov. 8 -- 5 p.m. trustee work session.
• Nov. 15 -- 5 p.m. regular trustee meeting.
• Nov. 29 -- 5 p.m. public hearing on the 2019 budget.
• Dec. 13 -- 5 p.m. action on the 2019 budget.
