Do you know someone who dedicates their time to improving the community? Do you know a business, non-profit or entrepreneur who has made leaps and bounds this year? Does the person/business that comes to mind have dedication, initiative and is a risk-taker? Do they improve Cedaredge?
Then you may want to nominate them for the annual Cedaredge Area Chamber of Commerce (CACC) awards! Nominations are due by Dec. 31; chamber members can be nominated by members and the general public.
The categories are: Business of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, New and Improved, Small Business of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Business Woman of the Year, Economic Impact of the Year and Lifetime Business of the Year.
"It's important to highlight the hard work our members do throughout the year as business owners or individuals," said chamber president Mitchell Gronenthal. "We truly believe that if businesses are recognized for their efforts, the community benefits from those efforts in more ways than we can imagine."
Additionally, the awards promote growth and economic development in Cedaredge.
The winners will be announced at the annual Cedaredge Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet on Jan. 18 at the Grand Mesa Arts and Event Center.
Nominations should include the business or organization name, primary contact name, contact information, and reason for the nomination. Nominations can be made by emailing email@example.com, writing to PO Box 278, Cedaredge CO 81413; or in person at 245 W. Main Street.
