Doug Craig, new Delta Middle School principal and former eighth-grade science teacher at Cedaredge Middle School, gives the commencement keynote speech, encouraging the graduates to think critically and remember to form their own conclusions in life.
Class valedictorians were Nathan Black and Lief Coleman, each of whom gave a traditional valedictorian speech of remembering the good times and encouragement for the future.

The ceremony also featured Doug Craig, new Delta Middle School principal and former eighth-grade science teacher at Cedaredge Middle School. The class of 2023 was the final science class Craig taught before moving on to an administrative role at DMS.

As per usual in the small town school, the presentation of diplomas came with the reading of each graduate's plans in the coming years, and in deep-rooted graduation tradition, the ceremony concluded with the turning of the tassels and the throwing of the caps.
