The Town of Cedaredge will join communities across the state Sept. 10-16 to celebrate Colorado Cities & Towns Week, a week set aside by the Colorado Municipal League to recognize town employees and volunteers, and to highlight the services those employees, and the town, offers to our citizens every day.
Municipal government is truly government of, by, and for the people of Cedaredge -- the people who are making decisions about our community are your neighbors, local business owners and community leaders. Like all municipal governments in the State of Colorado, the Town of Cedaredge is administered for and by its citizens, and is dependent upon public commitment to carry out its responsibilities. Colorado Cities & Towns Week 2018 is a chance for us to share a little of the inner workings of our local government.
During the week, we want to recognize the role town government plays in our lives, from public safety to promoting the area's culture and recreation. We will highlight some of our staff members on the town's Facebook page. If you are curious who is patrolling your neighborhood, plowing your streets or taking care of all the administrative tasks that keep Cedaredge running, please take a peek on Facebook. Our page is also a great way to keep in touch with what is happening in the community!
To help celebrate, we also want to hear from you! What do you love about Cedaredge? What makes living here, working here and playing here better than anywhere else? Tell us! Post on our Facebook page, email email@example.com, or give us a call at 856-3123. We will be collecting responses and sharing them with the community. We'd love to hear from you!
Two of the four marijuana questions on the November ballot were narrowly approved by voters in the City of Delta. Measure 2F allows the establishment of medical marijuana centers. Measure 2H permits the establishment of medical marijuana cultivation, testing, research and manufacturing facilities.
