The Cedaredge Bruins placed third at regional qualifying play at Steamboat Springs' Haymaker Golf Course.
Aspen won the team title (244), Basalt was second (253) and the Bruins were third with their 257.
Cedaredge's qualifiers, and the three qualifying scores for the 2015 state meet, include Peter Carlson, Jacob Lewis and Duncan Campbell. Carlson had the top score for the Bruins with his 80. Next in line for the Bruins was Lewis with an 85 and Duncan Campbell who finished with a 92.
Individually, the Bruins qualified three athletes to participate in the state meet.
With their qualification, the Bruins will be eligible to compete as a team at this year's state competition.
With the Bruins being a member of Class 3A, their state tournament site is on the western side of the divide. Class 3A tournament play is set for Oct. 5-6, at Eagle Ranch Golf Course in Gypsum.

During a preliminary hearing in Delta District Court on Tuesday, Jan. 15, Judge Steven Schultz found probable cause for second degree murder charges against Heather Jones.
Jones previously faced three counts in the shooting of Ryan Redifer in Paonia on Jan. 12, 2018 -- assault in the first degree, assault in the second degree and violation of a protection order.
