Two groups of students -- one which TP'd the campus and the other which spray painted vulgar sayings on outbuildings and picnic tables at Cedaredge middle and high schools have been identified. The vandalism occurred sometime between 11 p.m. and midnight May 10 and was discovered early Friday morning. Cedaredge Police Chief Dan Sanders appealed for help via Facebook shortly after the incident took place.
He updated his post a few days later: "We have identified the involved parties and most have cooperated with us. We will get everything wrapped up and work with the school district to get to a fair resolution ... They will all learn a valuable and somewhat costly lesson."
