The board of directors of the Delta Area Chamber of Commerce has voiced opposition for Amendment 69. The chamber believes Amendment 69 is a costly, untested and risky government-run health care plan that would double the size of state government.
"Under Amendment 69, ALL Coloradans will lose their current benefit plan, to be replaced by benefits yet to be determined, to be served by an entity yet to be identified, to include providers yet to be named," the chamber emailed to all members.

On Dec. 2, officers of the Delta Police Department responded to a report of an assault. Officers spoke with a 64-year-old male with a bleeding injury on his neck.
