The Hotchkiss Bulldogs upped their conference win-loss record to 4-3 Saturday on a convincing 55-43 win over Rangely.
Senior Jacob Stucker scored 17 points in the win. Evan Mattison scored six of his nine game points on three-pointers.
The Bulldogs held a steady eight-point lead throughout the first three periods, outscoring the Panthers, 5-3, in the last two minutes of the game. Guard Marvin Guereque ended the game with seven points, Zac Ziemer and Oliver Mendoza each added five points. Also scoring were Will Scarlett (4), Hunter Bryant (3), Malykai Klaseen and Jacob Palecki (2), and Yahir Chaviz (1).
The Bulldogs are now 6-7 overall with six games remaining in the regulation season. They take to the road this week for two conference games, starting Friday against the 7-7 Soroco Rams Friday. On Saturday they face 1-9 North Park.
