The 33rd annual City of Delta/Lee Martinson cribbage tournament was held at Bill Heddles Recreation Center Sunday, Feb. 21. The event is the largest on the Western Slope, this year drawing 56 players from Delta, Olathe, Cedaredge, Eckert, Crawford, Austin, Fruita, Montrose, Paonia, Hotchkiss and Grand Junction. The first place winners received a wooden cribbage board made by Jack Behrman. Certificates were given to the top places, and smaller prizes were given to winners up to 15th place. Thanks to Lee Martinson for donating the large prizes.
All participants played singles and had the option of playing doubles as well.
