Calling all North Fork Valley newcomers and old-timers: Are you new to the area? Do you want to know more about how your irrigation system works?

The Western Slope Conservation Center's Watershed Committee will host a re-cap of last year's "Irrigation 101," with a focus on the unique water resources of the North Fork Valley. Come see some hands-on irrigation examples and learn about ditches, shares and the resources available to make the most of your irrigation networks. irrigation 102 will also touch on drought preparedness and drought resilience. Stories and input from experienced farmers welcome!

Pie and tea or coffee will be served at the break. Irrigation 102 will take place Tuesday, May 21, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the CSU Organic Research Station on Rogers Mesa, 30624 Highway 92, Lazear.
