0830 hours Animal Control responded to Pizza Hut for the report of a found female husky. The husky was transported to Roice-Hurst Humane Society where she was impounded.

1119 hours The school resource officer took a report of a possible assault that took place at Delta Middle School.

1413 hours The school resource officer responded to Delta High School for a report of two juvenile males that were involved in a physical altercation that took place earlier in the day.

1516 hours An officer responded to 1758 Highway 92 and Industrial Boulevard for a single vehicle traffic accident.

1540 hours An officer responded to the 700 block of Grand Avenue for the report of theft from an auto.

0433 hours An officer contacted a parked vehicle at Alta South Gas Station for a male slumped over in the driver’s seat. As a result, Jonathan Rule was arrested on an extraditable warrant out of Rio Blanco County and transported to jail.

0816 hours An officer responded to the 600 block of Leon Street for a report of criminal mischief.

0840 hours An officer responded to the 500 block of Howard Street for the report of a burglary.

1122 hours Animal Control responded to the 1600 block of H38 Road for the report of two dogs killing chickens. After further investigations, Ely Mclaughlin received a summons for two charges of failure to vaccinate, two charges of failure to license, two of running at large, two of animals creating a nuisance and two for vicious animals.

1334 hours An officer responded to the front lobby of the police department to meet with a female party who received a suspicious package.

1844 hours An officer received a report of a cold traffic accident that had occurred near the address of Moonshine Liquors.

2120 hours An officer responded to Walmart for the report of a possible shoplifting.

0051 hours An officer conducted a traffic stop near Highway 50 and 1565 Road. As a result, Salvador Ramirez was issued a summons for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.

0746 hours An officer responded to the area of 1724 Highway 92 for the report of a vehicle versus deer.

0919 hours An officer took a report of a possible harassment.

1157 hours An officer responded to Hellman Chevrolet for the report of a possible harassment.

1319 hours An officer provided an agency assist.

1325 hours An officer responded to the area of Gunnison River Drive and Highway 50 for a REDDI report. As a result Robert Bowersox was arrested on an active warrant and transported to Delta County Jail.

2016 hours An officer responded to 180 Gunnison River Drive on a report of a possible domestic incident. After further investigation, Stephen White was arrested on charges of assault in the third degree, domestic violence, two counts of child abuse and abusing toxic vapors. He was transported to Delta County Jail.

2200 hours An officer investigated a possible domestic incident that occurred in the 600 block of Bluff Place. This incident is still under investigation.

2241 hours An officer took a report of Facebook harassment.

1610 hours An officer responded to Maverik for the report of a two vehicle accident.

1959 hours An officer responded to the 900 block of East 7th Street for the report of a theft.

0017 hours DCSO took a phone call regarding the possible kidnapping of a cat.

0100 hours Patrick Hindman, 53, fugitive from justice, was arrested on an active warrant at DCSO.

1022 hours Donald Abbey was arrested on two Delta County warrants for failure to appear at the Delta County Jail when he turned himself in on this date.

1530 hours Irving C. Moreno, 28, was arrested by a court security officer on an outstanding failure to appear warrant and placed in the jail.

1602 hours Mark Wells, 65, was arrested on a Jefferson County warrant for driving while his ability was impaired.

1941 hours A deputy responded to the 23000 block of Old Hotchkiss Road, Austin, for a criminal mischief investigation on a vehicle.

Nov. 18

0947 hours Deputies were contacted regarding possible fraud in Delta.

0944 hours A deputy took a report of fraud in Cedaredge.

1228 hours DCSO took a report of possible fraud in Crawford.

1406 hours DCSO was advised of a report of possible elder abuse in the 5000 block of Vista Court, Delta. The reporting party stated he/she had been advised that a long-term caregiver may be taking advantage of clients.

1448 hours Deputies responded to the 25000 block of McPherson Road, Cedaredge on a report of a dog bite.

1540 hours A deputy took a report of a suspicious incident on Grand Vista Road, Delta involving internet cable reportedly being cut.

Nov. 19

0730 hours DCSO was notified about a littering incident in which a white truck with a dump trailer reportedly dumped wood right of the road on Dominguez Canyon Road, Delta. Deputies did find the pile of wood dumped along with grass and leaf clippings, but no suspects were found and no license plate was given. BLM was advised of the wood and a separate abandoned car.

1034 hours DCSO was advised of possible theft in Paonia involving an unknown withdrawal of $4,000 from a bank account.

1437 hours Deputies responded to the 1000 block of H Lane on report of a disturbance.

1501 hours Haley Hough was arrested on a Delta County warrant for failure to appear at the Mesa County Jail this date.

1505 hours Kendahl Longwedel was arrested on multiple warrant for failure to appear from Delta and Montrose counties and the Mesa County Jail on this date.

1510 hours Brent Wilson was arrested on a Delta County warrant for failure to appear at the Mesa County Jail this date.

2303 hours DCSO contacted several intoxicated juveniles near Blake Field Airport on Devil’s Thumb Road, Delta. The parents of the juveniles were contacted and they arrived on scene to collect their children.

Nov. 20

0404 hours James Dupree, 38, will have a warrant completed for his arrest for an act of domestic violence at approximately 4:04 a.m. on Dogwood Avenue, Crawford.

1332 hours Shane Parduhn, 52, was taken into custody on two warrants out of the Delta County Sheriff’s Office and a Montrose County Sheriff’s Office felony warrant after being contacted in Austin.

1453 hours Deputies received a telephone report of criminal mischief to a mailbox for the 40000 block of Lamborn Mesa Road, Paonia.

1318 hours DCSO assisted the Hotchkiss Police Department execute a search warrant at 171 W Main Street, Hotchkiss. Multiple warrant arrests were made during this search, including Kimbralea Freeman and Wendell Harmon.

1829 hours Deputies assisted in the investigation into a two-vehicle accident in which one of the vehicles had fled the scene. Michael Carr, 43, was arrested.

Nov. 21

0941 hours Rose Pomroy, 53, was taken into custody and transported to the Delta County Jail on a Delta Police Department warrant after being contacted at a property located to the south of Fairview and Tongue Creek Road.

2256 hours Skylee Sparks, 29, of Fruita was taken into custody for criminal possession of a financial device and criminal possession of an identification document during an investigation into identity theft in Delta.
