The Hotchkiss girls scored 34 points at Cedaredge. Hotchkiss placed in four relays, with Kaiya Firor, Jasmine Gaub, Fatima Rodriguez and Jordan Tamayo earning silver in the 800-meter sprint medley with a time of 1:57.61.

In three other relays the girls posted their best times of the season. Firor, Gaub, Rodriguez and Tamayo placed fourth in the 4x200 with a time of 1:55.24; Morgan Miller, Rodriguez, Tamayo and Elsie Vasquez took fourth in the 4x400 (4:34.46); and in the 4x100, Shay Glaser, Rodriguez, Vasquez and Gaub placed sixth (54.84).

In individual events, Firor placed third in the high jump with a jump of 4 feet, 11 inches, and fourth in the 100m hurdles; Gaub placed eighth in the 300m hurdles

Hotchkiss Boys

The Hotchkiss boys scored 42 points to place fifth at the 17-team meet. Cedaredge won the team title with 148 points.

Zack Allen won his third high jump of the season after clearing 6 feet, 3 inches.

Also winning gold for Hotchkiss was the 800m sprint medley team of Colton Peebles, Coe Keaton, Jace Peebles and Sam Rodriguez with a time of 1:42.41.

In individual events, Darrin Young placed sixth in the shot put with a throw of 39 feet, 6.25 inches. Colton Peebles placed fifth in the 100-meter dash. In the 300m hurdles Colton Peebles placed fifth and Jace Peebles finished eighth.

Sam Rodriguez took fourth in the 800m run with a time of 2:12.21. The 4x200 relay team of Allen, Caesar Camacho, Colton Peebles and Jace Peebles placed fourth.
