Judith "Judi" Anne Dixon died May 23, 2018, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction. She was 74.
Judith Anne Alt was born Feb. 17, 1944, in Baltimore, Md., to William Alt and Nancy Richardson. She spent her childhood and attended school in Towson, Md. She trained to be a radiology technician in Washington, D.C. She worked in Washington, D.C., San Francisco and Modesto, Calif., before settling in Delta in 1988.
On April 20, 1990, she married Kenneth Dixon in Las Vegas, Nev.
She enjoyed travelling, especially to Scotland, watching the Broncos, her German shepherds, quarterhorses and spending time with family.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Kenneth Dixon.
A celebration of life service will be held at the family home, 1781 G Road, Delta, at 10 a.m. July 7. Curtis Jones will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to any charity for children or animals.
Two of the four marijuana questions on the November ballot were narrowly approved by voters in the City of Delta. Measure 2F allows the establishment of medical marijuana centers. Measure 2H permits the establishment of medical marijuana cultivation, testing, research and manufacturing facilities.
