The Colorado Rockies Skills Challenge consists of boys and girls in different age groups between 6 and 13 competing in the fundamentals of batting, base running and throwing. Keely Porter competed in the 12-13 girls group at Metro State University on Aug. 6 where she took first place. Keely was then recognized that evening at the Rockies vs. Marlins game during the pre-game festivities. She got to go down on the field and meet a couple of the players and was even announced on the big screen with all of the other winners. This is the third year Keely has won at the state level.
During a preliminary hearing in Delta District Court on Tuesday, Jan. 15, Judge Steven Schultz found probable cause for second degree murder charges against Heather Jones.
Jones previously faced three counts in the shooting of Ryan Redifer in Paonia on Jan. 12, 2018 -- assault in the first degree, assault in the second degree and violation of a protection order.
