Tevin Keller led the Hotchkiss boys at the team's home invitational meet Saturday. Keller placed 17th with a time of 21:10.08. The Hotchkiss boys placed eighth with 84 points.
Will Ela finished the 5,000-meter course in 24:12.30, freshman Ben Rodriquez finished 60th in 28:21.69, and in his first cross country race of the season, freshman Pablo Camacho placed 65th in 29:24.20.
The Hotchkiss girls scored 67 points to place sixth. Freshman Karlie Egging led the team, placing 19th with a time of 27:36.74. Mariah Griffith placed 22nd with a time of 28:13.23, Grace Hatheway finished 29th (30:44.99), and Adair Ela placed 31st (30:57.88).
Two of the four marijuana questions on the November ballot were narrowly approved by voters in the City of Delta. Measure 2F allows the establishment of medical marijuana centers. Measure 2H permits the establishment of medical marijuana cultivation, testing, research and manufacturing facilities.
