The Kids Pasta Project winter/spring dinner schedule is underway. The next dinner will be Feb. 11 and benefits the North Fork Valley Creative Coalition. The March 11 dinner will benefit the Mountain Harvest Creative.
On April 1, the dinner benefits the Pickin' in the Park free summer concert series, and on April 8, KPP will celebrate its 10th birthday.
KPP's mission is "for youth to serve their local community by preparing and selling freshly-made, healthy meals and giving profits to local causes." KPP provides the opportunity to learn the value of service to the community as well as relevant life skills. Where possible, they use fresh and freshly-made local products. Dinners begin at 6 p.m., at the Edesia Community Kitchen, 395 Clark Avenue, in Paonia.
Cost of the meal is $14 for adults, $8 for kids, and includes lasagna made with freshly rolled pasta, home-made sauces, bread, green salad and fruit crisp.
Reservations can be made at kidspastaproject.org/reservation/ or by calling 970-250-6836.
