Kristina Jann Hutchins died May 23, 2018, in a car accident. She was 73.
Services will be held Saturday, June 9, at the Blue Sage in Paonia from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 10, at Bethlehem Cemetery.
Mrs. Hutchins attended schools in Paonia and graduated in 1963. She lived in North Dakota, Wisconsin, Missouri and California before retiring to Paonia.
She is survived by her siblings, Bill (Annette) Hutchins of Bayfield and Karen Hutchins of Cedar Creek, Texas; children, Eric (Donna Lee) Stovner of Santa Ana, Calif., and Keri (Brett) Scoville of Washington; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and extended family.
During a preliminary hearing in Delta District Court on Tuesday, Jan. 15, Judge Steven Schultz found probable cause for second degree murder charges against Heather Jones.
Jones previously faced three counts in the shooting of Ryan Redifer in Paonia on Jan. 12, 2018 -- assault in the first degree, assault in the second degree and violation of a protection order.
