From the Delta Police Department:
Anja G. Farnese, 18, of Montrose was arrested and jailed for alleged DUID and careless driving after being in a one-vehicle crash involving a utility pole in the 1600 block of H38 Road. The car was on fire. Delta Fire responded and extinguished the fire. Delta County Ambulance District transported one to Delta County Memorial Hospital where she was released a short time later. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Brianna A. Bermudez, 29, of Delta was arrested and jailed on three warrants totaling $3,750 bond.
Shariot J. Overturf, 25, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged failed to yield right of way at a stop sign after being in a two-vehicle crash at 3rd and Palmer streets. No injuries were reported or observed. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Holly A. Brooks, 27, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged disobedience of a red signal light after being in a two-vehicle crash at 5th and Main streets. No injuries were reported or observed. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Jacob G. Jones, 30, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged failed to yield right of way at a stop sign after being in a two-vehicle crash at 12th and Howard streets. No injuries were reported or observed. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Anthony N. Dominguez, 38, of Eckert was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $50 bond.
Tallon R. Schaublin, 18, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $750 bond in addition to charges of identity theft, theft and unauthorized use of a financial transaction device.
Denis A. Coolidge, 43, of Montrose was issued a ticket for alleged theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Patricia Andrews, 79, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged following too closely after being in a two-vehicle crash on E. 3rd Street at Meeker Street. No injuries were reported or observed. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Tyrell F. Cross, 32, of Montrose was arrested and jailed for alleged theft, violation of bail bond conditions and unlawfully carrying of a concealed weapon.
Robert J. Thibodeaux, 46, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $300 bond.
Fernando David Ortega-Huerta, 26, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged violation of a protection order.
Emmett L. Wells, 33, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged theft. He is being held on a $15,000 bond.
James E. Sheldon Jr., 35, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $2,000 bond.
Kelly F. Turner, 31, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged harassment.
Citations: 10 tickets for traffic violations were issued this week, two for speeding.

Deputies were called to assist with a child custody situation involving a father from Wichita, Kan., whose son is living with relatives in the area.
A Hotchkiss area man called to report a neighbor's dogs were chasing his cattle.
At about 5:30 p.m., Zachary Patterson, 16, was involved in a single-car accident on Highway 65 just north of Cedaredge. Patterson lost control of his vehicle on the icy roadway and it slid 30 to 40 feet down a steep embankment. Patterson was not injured. The Colorado State Patrol arrived on scene to handle the investigation.
A Hotchkiss area man reported his ex-wife would not leave his home; she says she has no place to go.
An Eckert resident reported a suspicious incident involving a cut phone line.
A 60-year-old Hotchkiss area resident reported she'd been bit by a dog.
A .410 shotgun was reported missing from a truck, possibly while it was parked at a Solar Court address.
A two-vehicle accident was reported on Highway 50 in the Delta area at about 5 p.m. One of the vehicles rolled, trapping the occupants. There were no serious injuries. The Colorado State Patrol arrived on scene to handle the investigation.
A Christmas snowstorm caused several accidents, none involving serious injury. One of the accidents was a head-on collision on Minnesota Creek Road outside of Paonia at around noon.
The election results are in at the local, state and national level, and as expected, Democrats are doing well in state and national races. Colorado has elected Jared Polis as governor; nationally the Republicans appear to retain control of the Senate while Democrats now control the House of Representative.
With a ballot full of local and state measures, voter turnout in Delta County topped 71%, with 15,889 ballots cast. Statewide, voter turnout was just over 52%.
Of the three Delta County residents seeking state offices, Matt Soper won over Thea Chase in State Representative Dist. 54; Mike Mason lost to Julie McCluskie in State Representative Dist. 61; and Olen Lund lost to Kerry Donovan in State Senate Dist. 5.
Locally, in the City of Delta voters rejected a .5% sales tax increase to fund recreation, as well as recreational marijuana sales. The sale of medical marijuana and cultivation/manufacturing facilities was approved by a slim margin. Delta voters also gave the city the green light to move forward with selling or trading the Cottonwood and Riverbend Park, and to sell the old Municipal Light and Power Building.
