June 2:

Officers responded to the north trail of Confluence park on a report of a single vehicle crashed into a ditch. No injuries were reported or observed. A 17-year-old male of Cedaredge was issued a ticket for alleged careless driving. Patricia Elaine Welch, 67, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged disorderly conduct and permitting an unlicensed minor to drive a vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Deanna Nieto, 34, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $300 bond.

David Ben Gallegos, 45, of Westminster was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $300 bond.

Dillon Donald Reed, 24, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $10,000 bond.

June 3:

As a result of a traffic stop, Lisa Renee Damiano, 39, of Cedaredge was arrested and jailed for alleged vehicle plates not clearly visible, failure to present evidence of insurance, driving a vehicle while license revoked and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

An officer took a report of alleged harassment. A warrant was issued for Jesus Octavio Morales, 44, of Delta. Moralez was arrested and jailed on the no bond warrant.

Kyle James Alward, 27, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged animal license required and running at large.

June 4:

Travis Oakes Williams, 27, of Crawford was issued a ticket for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia.

Code enforcement picked up a dog at 401 N. Kellogg Street and took it to TAILS for the owner to claim. Susan A. Muth, 59, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged animal license required and running at large.

Jesse Ross Reed, 34, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $3,000 bond.

June 5:

Officers responded to the intersection of Highway 92 and Meeker Street for a two-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported or observed. Tenika Yvonne Whittemore, 36, of Montrose was issued a ticket for alleged careless driving. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Justin Edward Trujillo, 30, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged harassment and obstruction of telephone service as acts of domestic violence.

A two-vehicle accident was reported at Maverik. Christopher Jay Vincent, 34, of Palisade was issued a ticket for alleged following too closely. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Officers responded to the 700 block of 1550 Road for a single vehicle accident with the vehicle stuck in the irrigation ditch. Charles Anthony Kuene, 56, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged careless driving. No injuries were reported or observed. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

June 6:

A car was found parked on the sidewalk resting against the stacked stone wall on 4th Street Hill. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

An officer responded to a theft at Stinkers.

Officers responded to Alta Vista de-la-Montana Apartments, on a report of a disturbance. A 15-year-old male of Delta was arrested on a warrant and released to a parent/guardian on an appearance bond.

Officers responded to the intersection of E. 7th Street and Riley Lane for a two-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported or observed. Lae Sari, 57, of Delta was issued a ticket; one vehicle was towed from the scene.

June 7:

Daren Alan Jones, 18, of Beulah was arrested and jailed on a no bond warrant.

Officers on foot patrol in the 300 block of Main Street located a wanted person. Zachary Taylor Pfister, 30, of Hotchkiss was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $4,000 bond.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of Dodge. Zachary David Bayhan, 21, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $1,000 bond.

Melissa R. Dillon, 45, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged rabies vaccination required, vicious animal and animal creating a nuisance.

Christopher David Bynum, 46, of Delta was arrested and jailed on two warrants with a total of $1,800 in bonds.

June 8:

Jason Joaquin Albert, 44, of Cedaredge was arrested and jailed on a warrant with no bond.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 700 block of Columbia.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1400 block of Howard Street on a report of a disturbance.

June 4:

A 1992 Ford Bronco was reported stolen from an Austin residence.

June 5:

Deputies responded to Urgent Care for a dog bite that occurred on Graff Road. The victim was trying to break up a dog fight when he was bit by a neighbor's dog. A notice of quarantine was issued to the dog owner.

A possible burglary was investigated at a Cory Mini Storage unit on Highway 65, Austin.

Deputies responded to a domestic dispute at a residence on Brimstone Road near Cedaredge.

June 6:

At about 2:15 a.m., deputies responded to a residence on Cedar Mesa Road, Cedaredge, in response to a male shooting himself in the finger. The accident reportedly occurred when Chris Rogers was cleaning his 9 mm Sig Sauer. After he was treated at the hospital, he was charged with prohibited use of a weapon due to the alleged use of alcohol and marijuana.

A Cedaredge resident advised his ex-girlfriend had taken some of his belongings from his house and refused to bring them back. The case is under investigation.

A possible burglary was reported at a storage unit at All Safe Storage, located on Highway 65 near Delta.

The theft of a pickup was reported by a Hotchkiss area resident. He identified a suspect.

Deputies assisted the Colorado State Patrol with an incident where a vehicle had slid off the roadway near the intersection of Cedar Mesa and Rimrock roads. Melinda Gatewood, 45, of Cedaredge was arrested for suspicion of DUI/DUID.

Deputies responded to an address on Highway 92 near Hotchkiss, where they located a stolen Ford pickup. While on scene, deputies observed a white passenger car with a rifle between the driver's seat and center console. In plain view was a pipe used to smoke methamphetamine. A K9 sniff of the vehicle's exterior indicated the odor of illegal narcotics/controlled substances, resulting in the arrest of Odessa Kirkedahl of Austin. The stolen vehicle was returned to the owner.

June 8:

Criminal mischief was reported at the parking area near Fruitgrowers Reservoir. Deputies were advised a fence post had been chopped up and burned in a camp fire by unknown persons.

An Eckert woman reported a possible protection order violation after she found her ex-husband's drivers license outside her bedroom window.

Deputies responded to the hospital emergency room following a private property accident on Soncrest Road near Delta. It was determined a father accidentally hit his son with a vehicle as he was backing out of his driveway. The 1-year-old suffered a broken collarbone and a bruised lung and was reported to be in good condition at the time of the report.

June 9:

Deputies responded to the 13000 block of 2600 Road for a traffic accident. The investigation was handled by the Colorado State Patrol.

Deputies responded to an address on Alkali Basin Road, where dogs were running at large. In addition, the dog owner allegedly threatened a neighbor's child. The dog owner was given a verbal warning for dog running at large and Child Protective Services was contacted about the threats involving the child.
