June 10:

Joshua Shane Wilcox, 29, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with $1,500 bond.

Raeona Elizabeth Peraza, 35, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged driving under the influence, unlawful possession of a Schedule 2 controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, special offender, prohibited use of a weapon, child abuse (eight counts) and introduction of contraband to a detention facility.

Officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of Dodge for a disturbance. Lea Marie Trickel, 29, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged harassment. A 17-year-old male of Delta was also issued a ticket for alleged harassment.

June 11:

Russell Alan Lopez Martin, 25, of Eckert was arrested and jailed on two warrants with a total of $1,250 in bonds.

An officer responded to a theft at City Market. Cassidy Eleanor Seiff, 23, of Almont was issued a ticket for alleged shoplifting.

June 12:

Officers responded to Delta County Memorial Hospital on a report of a suspicious person in the parking area. Casey Wayne Jolley, 37, of Austin was arrested and jailed for alleged violation of a protection order.

Ricky Dean Rarick, 55, of Cedaredge was issued a ticket for alleged littering.

Justin Duane Williams, 38, Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with no bond.

June 13:

Officers responded to a residence in the 1200 block of Grand Avenue on a report of an assault. John Douglas Carr, 45, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged third degree assault and violation of a protection order as an act of domestic violence.

Brandon Edward Huff, 23, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged defective vehicle, drove motor vehicle while license suspended, failed to present evidence of insurance and unlawful possession of a Schedule 2 controlled substance.

Officers responded to a residence in the 300 block of Kellogg Street on a report of an assault. Logan Messenger Harrington, 18, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged third degree assault as an act of domestic violence.

June 14:

Richard Arthur Colbert, 58, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $1,500 bond.

Braden Todd Puckett, 21, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $500 bond.

Dennis James Sine, 53, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $750 bond.

June 15:

Officers responded to a residence in the 1500 block of H-25 Road on a report of gunshots.

June 11:

Following a suspected theft from a gas station in Eckert, two females were advised they would be charged with trespassing if they entered the store again.

An Eckert woman reported the theft of her purse from her vehicle parked at a residence on Highway 65 in Eckert.

At about 2:40 p.m., deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover on Highway 50 near the Escalante turnoff. Guenter Grothe, 88, of Cedaredge was transported by ambulance to Delta County Memorial Hospital. The Colorado State Patrol handled the investigation.

At about 6:10 p.m., deputies responded to an address on 2000 Road, Delta, for a traffic accident involving a car and a tractor. One driver was transported to the hospital and the car was towed from the scene.

Sheriff's deputies assisted the Colorado State Patrol with a DUI arrest near the intersection of Kenosha Road and Justice Road. Kenny Pratte of Delta was transported to Delta County Jail.

At about 8:50 p.m., a child was missing near the town of Crawford. The child was located prior to deputies' arrival on the scene.

June 12:

A Delta resident filed a trespassing complaint about the Delta County Ambulance Service. After speaking to the ambulance crew, deputies determined DCAD was responding to an emergent call in the area and had caused no damage to the reporting party's property.

June 13:

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 7000 block of Peach Valley Road near Delta. It was determined the motorist had run out of fuel.

A warrant was issued for Jesse Reed after he failed to return from a two-hour furlough from Delta County Jail. He was released for a mental health evaluation as stipulated by the court, but did not show up for his appointment. He remains at large.

Deputies received a report from Adult Protective Services involving an elderly male who had possibly handled a loaded firearm while intoxicated.

Deputies responded to an address on Roubideau Canyon Road on a report of trespassers in an abandoned house. The suspect vehicle had left the area when deputies arrived on the scene.

June 14:

Deputies were advised that a vehicle stolen from an Austin address was being advertised for sale on craigs-list.

Deputies responded to an assault on 2300 Road, Delta. Contact was made with the parties involved, and neither wanted to pursue charges.

The sheriff's office received a report of a suicidal male at a Delta area address.

As a result of a traffic stop near Highway 50 and Ash Mesa Road, Jacob Futrell of Delta was arrested on an outstanding warrant and booked into the Delta County Jail. He was also charged with possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. A female was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia and released from the scene.

June 15:

Deputies took a report of a stolen cell phone from a Cedaredge address.

Deputies responded to Delta County Memorial Hospital to speak with a dog bite victim.

June 16:

Deputies responded to a report of littering along Rim Rock Road near Hotchkiss.
