May 19:

Diana Joaquina Lopez, 29, of Delta and a 17-year-old female of Delta were issued tickets for alleged shoplifting at Brandi's Consignment, 348 Main Street.

Jordan Alexander Montes, 21, of Montrose was arrested and jailed on a warrant with no bond.

May 20:

An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for alleged speeding. The driver was given a verbal warning. A passenger, Jordan Alexander Montes, 21, of Montrose was arrested and jailed for alleged unlawful possession of a Schedule 2 controlled substance and unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.

Kyandra Lynn Johse, 28, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged trespass at Walmart.

George Walter Bryant, 34, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with an $8,000 bond.

Aimee Elizabeth Dyer, 40, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $2,000 bond.

Officers responded to Safeway on a report of a shoplifter running from the store.

May 21:

Brittney Cook, 24, of Eckert was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $750 bond.

An officer responded to a residence in the 800 block of Meeker Street for a report of criminal mischief.

Chante Stephanie Martinez, 29, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged displayed expired temporary registration, failed to display valid registration, failed to present evidence of insurance, driving while license revoked-habitual traffic offender (HTO), child abuse and violation of bail bond conditions.

A burglary was reported at the concession stand at Mountain View Park.

May 22:

Linda Jo Howell, 68, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $400 bond.

Russell Alan Lopez-Martin, 25, of Eckert was issued a ticket for alleged shoplifting at Delta Ace Hardware.

Tylor Michael Naranjo, 26, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged violation of a protection order (two counts).

A 17-year-old female of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged theft at Delta County Memorial Hospital.

May 23:

Officers responded to the intersection of W. 5th Street and Confluence Drive for a two-vehicle accident involving a box truck and a semi hauling a fuel tanker. No injuries were reported or observed. Justin Michael Spirz, 38, of Grand Junction was issued a ticket for alleged careless driving. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Carla Kay Thompson, 49, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged shoplifting at Walmart.

Richard Alan Earl, 35, of Delta was arrested and jailed on two warrants, one with a $5,000 bond and the other with no bond.

May 24:

Jimmy Dee Atwood, 62, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $100 bond.

Thomas Arthur Peterson, 51, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $3,000 bond.

Eric Adam Malinowski, 35, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $1,000 bond.

Officers responded to a residence in the 1000 block of E. 5th Street. Eric Adam Malinowski, 35, of Delta had "barricaded" himself in an outbuilding. K9 Raico was prepared to clear the building. Malinowski came out and was arrested and jailed for alleged obstruction and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

May 25:

Officers responded to E. 3rd Street near Rich Street for a two-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported or observed. Brandon Zachary Lee Flores, 18, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged careless driving, failed to present evidence of insurance, displayed expired registration (license plates) and violation of driver's instruction permit provisions. One vehicle was towed from the scene.

An officer responded to a burglary at 697 Industrial Blvd. Multiple storage units had been broken into and personal property removed.

Ethan James Roberts, 27, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $1,250 bond.

Officers responded to a residence in the 900 block of Crawford Avenue for a disturbance. Lionel Pizano, 18, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged felony menacing.

Christopher Scott Taylor, 34, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $3,000 bond.

Officers responded to a residence in the 1400 block of Howard Street on a concern for welfare. Cimaron Mendoza, 40, of Delta was arrested and jailed on two warrants, one with a $1,250 bond and the other with no bond.

May 26:

Charles Anthony Montoya, Jr., 39, of Delta was issued a ticket for disorderly conduct.

May 27:

An officer responded to Arby's on a report of found/abandoned property. The owner of the property was located. Zachary Taylor Pfister, 30, of Hotchkiss was issued a ticket for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers responded to the 900 block of Yorkshire Court on a report of a suspicious male allegedly trying to get into vehicles and a residence. Mark Arnold Porter, 33, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged criminal mischief and two counts of first degree criminal trespass.

Officers responded to a residence in the 1600 block of E. 7th Street on a report of burglary.

May 28:

Officers responded to the area of Highway 50 near H-38 Road on a report of suspicious female. Amy Denise McDiffett, 31, of Palisade was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $100,000 bond.

May 29:

A theft was reported at a residence in the 900 block of E. 6th Street.

Rose Marie Pomroy, 50, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged theft involving an at risk adult, second degree assault, unlawful possession of a Schedule 2 controlled substance, resisting arrest and obstruction.

Officers responded to the intersection of Highway 50 and Highway 92 for a semi versus SUV accident. No injuries were reported or observed. Donald George Kennedy, 72, of Leadville was issued a ticket for alleged failure to yield right of way when turning left. One vehicle was towed from the scene.

A single vehicle, no-injury accident was reported at Wendy's. Brandon Cruz Cardera, 49, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged driving under the influence and careless driving.

May 30:

Larry Dean Denham, 58, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $1,000 bond.

May 31:

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Bluff Street. Erica Danell Goodwin, 43, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged expired number plates, drove motor vehicle while license under restraint and failed to present evidence of insurance. Goodwin was also arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $750 bond.

Officers responded to Alta Vista de-la-Montana housing complex on a report of carbon monoxide detectors on alarm. The Delta Fire Department responded and the scene was eventually turned over to Black Hills Energy. The cause of the alarm is unknown.

Officers responded to Mountain View Park on a concern for welfare. Marian Marie Odell, 49, of Delta was arrested and jailed on two warrants with a total of $700 in bonds.

Officers responded to 2nd and Main on a report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. Kristian Derik Reed, 18, of Austin was issued a ticket for alleged following too closely. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

June 1:

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 700 block of Dodge. Leslie Ann Gonzalez, 33, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $500 bond.

George Walter Bryant, 34, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $300 bond.

From the Delta County Sheriff's Office (partial list):

May 28:

Deputies responded to a Pea Green address on Highway 348 for a possible burglary in progress. No one was found on the property and the Montrose County Sheriff's Office took over the investigation.

A backpack found at the intersection of Ward Creek Road and Green Valley Road near Eckert was placed into safekeeping at the sheriff's office.

Deputies responded to an address on Alboe Lane, Eckert, to check on a male party who was reportedly making suicidal statements.

May 29:

Deputies responded to an address on F Road to check on a deer that had possibly been hit by a vehicle. The animal had to be euthanized due to its injuries. No persons or vehicles were found in the area, nor was a vehicle vs. deer crash reported.

A Paonia area business owner reported the theft of a U-Haul trailer.

At about 10:44 a.m., deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of B Road and Ash Mesa Road. One vehicle reportedly landed in a tree. Both drivers (the only occupants involved) were transported to Delta County Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.

Deputies performed a compliance check at a hemp operation in the Eckert area.

A possible burglary was reported at an address on 1900 Road near Delta. The complainant identified a suspect, Zachary Hooker, who was arrested on outstanding warrants. Investigation determined Hooker had not entered the home or taken any property.

Suzanne Baker of Delta was charged with speeding (10-19) over after a traffic stop in the 18000 block of F Road.

May 30:

Deputies took a report of a cold sexual assault of an at-risk adult.

Deputies assisted the Cedaredge Police Department with a potential juvenile runaway. The female was located nearby at a family member's house and it was determined the incident stemmed from a child custody situation.

May 31:

As a result of a traffic stop, Kenneth Gallob of Hotchkiss was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant, driving under restraint and other traffic offenses.

A burglary was reported at an address on 1500 Road, Delta. The property owner returned home to find the front door kicked in, consistent with forced entry. A TV, Xbox and firearms were missing. The case is under investigation.

A Cedaredge area resident reported the theft of her riding lawnmower and two cans of gasoline from her garage while she was away.

At 6:30 p.m., deputies responded to a traffic accident in the 2000 block of 2100 Road near Delta. Both occupants were treated on scene for minor injuries. Colorado State Patrol handled the investigation.

The assistance of the K-9 team was requested at a one-vehicle, no-injury accident at the intersection of Highway 92/Highway 65, Delta. Joel Marchington of Delta was arrested by the Colorado State Patrol.

June 1:

Deputies responded to Delta County Memorial Hospital for a OHV accident victim with a possible broken leg. It was determined the accident occurred on Sawmill Mesa Road in Montrose County.
